We Are a Collective First
What "Collective" Means to Us

The word "collective" gets used a lot, and it means different things depending on who's saying it — sometimes just a shared address, sometimes a business structure, sometimes a philosophy. For us, it means something specific: practitioners choosing to build care together instead of in isolation, and clients finding a place where that collaboration is felt, not just implied.

Compassion Collective is a shared space where independent clinicians and holistic practitioners build their own practices, side by side, inside infrastructure that supports the work instead of controlling it. No percentage splits eating into income. The least amount of hierarchy dictating what care should look like. Assistance in building how you want to work, and conversations where conversations are due.

We came together because we want to do mental health differently — and we believe that's easier done together than alone. Being a collective isn't just about the practitioners — it's about who walks through the door, and who contacts us. We accept all insurances, offer sliding scale, and work to keep care accessible and affordable for whoever needs it. Our practitioners talk to each other, learn from each other, and think alongside one another about how to best support the people in front of them — so every person who comes in benefits not from one clinician's perspective, but from a whole community of them.

Beyond individual care, we're building space for community itself — rooms meant for workshops, groups, and shared learning, where practitioners and clients alike can gather for something bigger than a single session. Healing doesn't only happen one-on-one behind a closed door; sometimes it happens in a room full of people figuring things out together.

We don't aim to be the biggest. Growing large was never the goal — staying intentional, connected, and genuinely collaborative was. We'd rather be a place that knows its own members and its own clients than one that's simply expanded for its own sake.

This conversation is never finished. We're growing — in space, in modalities, in who we welcome. What Compassion Collective looks like a year from now will be shaped by the people who are part of it.

We're different because we're still becoming.
