Christina Kostopoulos, MsEd, LPCC, NCC
First generation American, born and raised in New York. Authenticity is one of my top values, so
I use compassionate and direct approaches in our relationship. I am committed to providing a
space where you can fully be understood, utilizing culturally responsive and trauma-informed
therapy. My space is neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ affirming, with a strong emphasis on
individualized care. Therapy is not one size fits all, and I am here to help you with your unique
journey. I am available for clients adolescent age through adulthood for individual therapy, as
well as couples work.
I graduated from CUNY Hunter College in 2018, and worked in the school systems before
transitioning to private practice. I utilize both skill based modalities, such as ACT and DBT,
along with somatic and trauma informed methods such as Brainspotting and IFS. Some
specialties I work with include life transitions, body image using Health at Every Size, chronic
depression and anxiety, ADHD/AuDHD, and grief.
I also offer Jungean-based parts work using tarot cards, and offer a spiritually open space to
folks to explore grounded ways to connect to their selves, particularly if life just seems too hard
to understand.
